We are a group of Christians who desire to continue growing in our knowledge and understanding of God’s word.  Composed of singles and couples, we frequently select a “mission outreach” project, giving money, supplies and/or our time to assist a local agency, person or project.

Several class members serve as “regular” teachers, while others fill-in on occasion. On occasion we have either met with another class for a special study or participated in the fifth Sunday programs in the CLC.

In 1999 our class developed a cookbook entitled Home Cookin’ and a Delightful Peek at Grandma’s Drawers.  It is a combination of recipes & local history through memories of words and pictures. All money raised from the sale of this cookbook has been and continues to be given to our church building fund.

In 2007 we developed a mission statement which reads, “The Genesis Class acts with our gifts of the Spirit to become more Christ-like in generously serving the physical and spiritual needs of those around us.”
